Robert Half is seeking a Director of Legal Projects. The position reports to the Managing Director of Robert Half Legal Consulting Solutions, who will provide overall direction regarding prioritization of target lists, utilization of time and performance feedback.

Robert Half Legal Consulting Solutions (LCS) is seeking a Director of Legal Projects. The position reports to the Managing Director of LCS, who will provide overall direction regarding prioritization of target lists, utilization of time and performance feedback.

Job Summary:


  • Target business development conversations and meetings with “C” level executives (Partners, General Counsel, CEO, CFO, and COO).

  • Business development of large projects, including large scale reviews of documents in the course of litigation, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisition or any other projects requiring legal resources.

  • Utilize specific target list to cultivate high-potential project accounts that fit the client and business profile of LCS.

  • Working in collaboration with the senior sales, consulting and leadership team of LCS.

  • Working in collaboration with the Executive Director of Robert Half Legal, management and field staff to expand current relationships, regain lost business, and create new relationships based on the assigned target list.

  • While establishing short-term business opportunities, be strategic and gear efforts towards building long-term business relationships that will result in consistent project business.

  • Promotes and supports an inclusive work environment where diversity and inclusion are championed

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of proven business development performance.

  • Legal and large project-based business development experience is desirable.


  • Successfully worked with C-Level executives, attorneys, and litigation support professionals

  • Ability to close deals and move a company strategy forward to meet performance objectives

  • Strong communication skills

  • A strong desire to succeed
    • Up to 10% of domestic travel may be required, dependent upon company guidelines and federal, state and local regulations.
