About This Role:

The Research Associate is part of Forrester's B2C and CMO research teams, which conduct research that is focused on current challenges and rising opportunities facing marketing executives - including marketing trends, consumer behavior, brand strategy, martech, advertising, creativity, digital transformation, and the agency landscape. The successful candidate will support a team of analysts who deliver bold thought leadership and business-driving advisory to B2C marketing executives all over the world.

Responsibilities


  • Manage research projects by working with assigned analysts, formulating a project plan, establishing a check-in process, coordinating research, and driving the schedule.

  • Assist analysts with qualitative and quantitative research including stakeholder interviews and surveys.

  • Advance the report production schedule from inception through publication.

  • Learn and use Forrester's proprietary data sets for fact checking.

  • Support analyst presentations with slide assembly and design.

  • Coordinate the promotion of research on Forrester's social media platforms.

Qualifications


  • A passion for marketing and its impact on driving business value.

  • BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.

  • One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; proficiency in Adobe Suite is a plus.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to build reusable resources such as survey questions and formatted data outputs.

  • The ability to interpret data and use findings correctly to elevate research claims.

  • The ability to work independently and with a team under tight deadlines, handling multiple tasks.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
