We are seeking a Security Compliance Administrator with experience in Information System Security Compliance, including risk assessments, security control selection, planning, documentation, testing, reporting, and auditing. Ideally, this person will have experience with the DOJ-developed Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) tool. This person will work on a small team of Security Compliance Administrator personnel, and will be a liaison with other Data Center departments, including system administrators, network administrators, training, technical assistance, development, and QA.

Responsibilities



  • Perform security administration support functions for the Information Security Manager
  • Attend security meetings with the DOL OCIO Security Office in order to stay current with departmental security requirements and deliverables.
  • Perform reviews and updates for the suite of security documentation including, System Security Plans, Risk Assessments, Contingency Plans, Security Test and Evaluations, Plan of Action and Milestones, Privacy Impact Assessments, and more.
  • Act as a liaison to the Job Corps community for account management reviews, annual user account re-certifications, security awareness training, and reported security incidents.
  • Support all security audits.
  • Perform a quarterly Account Management Review of Job Corps centers/agencies, including issuing scorecards for Contractor and Regional review and follow-up.
  • Support the Assessment and Authorization process that occurs annually to renew the Job Corps SPAMIS and GSS LAN/WAN Authority to Operate status.
  • Provide input to the Training Department for keeping the annual security awareness training up-to-date with the latest requirements.
  • Maintain records and reporting for security-related incidents.
  • Manage and review audit logs and provide follow-up for unusual activities.
  • Support annual contingency plan testing, training and reporting.
  • Support annual incident response plan testing, training and reporting.
  • Work with other departments within the Job Corps Data Center to coordinate security-related activities.

Qualifications


  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills for communicating with customers, management and other Contractor support personnel.
  • Must have experience with business continuity planning, risk management, auditing, system security planning.
  • Must be knowledgeable of IT Security policies and procedures and guidelines at the Federal Level.
  • Must have an understanding of information technology and information security (including firewall, VPN, penetration testing, and other security devices).
  • Must have at least 1-year experience in the development and management of business continuity plans, conducting risk management, coordinating audits, and preparing system security plans.
  • Must have at least 1-year experience developing security policies and procedures.
  • Must have good general knowledge of Federal security guidelines related to the job duties listed above.
