Job Summary The CRA Trader is responsible for insuring that the Bank's available-for-sale CRA loan pipeline is forecasted, tracked, and allocated properly with investors so to maximize potential returns. Position will also be responsible for forecasting Bank's CRA needs and source loans.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish and negotiate CRA eligible whole loan and swap trades
Evaluate loan pipelines for CRA opportunities
Develop and maintain CRA forecasting for bank needs
Establish and maintain relationships with CRA brokers and investors
Reconcile trades and maintain monthly/quarterly reporting
Ensure adherence to Secondary Marketing and Trading policies
Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
Job Requirements:
Reliable Home High Speed Internet required
HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent required
Bachelor's in Business/Finance or equivalent experience OR 10 Years of Comparable Work Experience required
3-5 years of experience in secondary marketing, finance or treasury or a combination of work experience required
