This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performance development team that is transforming the customer and dealer experiences associated with purchasing GM products, including Electric Vehicles (EV's). The Finance function performs a critical cross-functional role in driving GM's business success including improving company financial performance, managing cash to fund major vehicle programs, and reporting results and managing investor perceptions. Global Finance IT provides innovative technology solutions to support these objectives. Responsibilities:
In this SAP System Analyst role, you will be part of the Global Finance IT SAP team responsible for ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs.
You must have proven experience/skills in the following:
Configure SAP MDG objects from Financials, Material, Supplier & Customers, Enterprise Asset Management domains
Develop workflow capabilities based on business rules using SAP BRF+ framework
Experience with integration technologies like ALE, IDOCS and Web Services
Experience with change request setup based on business requirements
Knowledge to maintain Organizational Unit Structure used by workflow agents
Liaison to the business providing SAP expertise related to various data domains while identifying solutions to business challenges
Additional Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience. 3+ years in an applicable business environment
Minimum 3 years of experience in master data management with expertise in implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
Experience with SAP MDG on S/4 HANA preferred
Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple SAP and non-SAP instances
Experience implementing Data Governance Best Practices
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)
