Summary of your role:
You, as the Strategic Account Manager, will serve a critical role in the total customer experience with Lineage Logistics designed to lead to expansion and retention of the company's largest and most strategic business relationships. You will have the opportunity to work across many business lines within your assigned account(s) and possess the ability to collaborate cross functionally within Lineage. Your three focus areas are:
Develop Continuous Improvement Roadmaps (CIR) and Strategic Growth Plans for your assigned account(s) in partnership with the Sales Leader assigned to the account(s) Identify and Pursue new business opportunities and products not under contract with your assigned account(s) Increase customer retention and profitability by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, seamless on-boarding of new business, managing compliance to Key Performance Indicators that allow Lineage the right to grow with your assigned account(s)
You will interface regularly with the Lean, Network Optimization, Data Analytics, Operations and Transportation functions in pursuit of customer and industry solutions.
Your success will be measured by:
Using the Miller Heiman Strategic SellingTM and Large Account Management Process® (LAMP®) methodologies for selling and account management strategy Identifying new selling opportunities currently served by Lineage competitors or internally sourced by the account Creating a value match by aligning account opportunities with Lineage current business needs Driving customer retention and satisfaction across all Lineage facilities and lines of business
Your typical day consists of:
Collaborating with individual sales leaders to drive the Account Strategic Plan and ensure overall strategy execution Leading advanced planning of pricing and contract renewals while identifying additional business to bring into scope; identifying upselling opportunities that continually drive incremental revenue and EBITDA growth Performing customer on-boarding and review SOP's with the account, along with education, CIS Portal set up, and critical contact lists Resolving account issues including billing, damage claims, and collections in partnership with internal Lineage stakeholders utilizing the standard Lineage 7 Step Problem Solving methodology Leading and conducting Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual business reviews with assigned account(s) and provide regular volume forecasts to your operations business partners. Other strategic projects as identified by Lineage
What makes you the ideal Strategic Account Manager:
Minimum of 5 years of account management, business development, or equivalent experience Respected industry leader with strong market credibility gained through integrity when interacting with key stakeholders Experience in contract negotiation, navigating complex organizations, and demonstrated success in meeting sales or equivalent goals Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience Ability to travel 30% of the time Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project) Experience with a regimented Continuous Improvement Structure (LEAN, Six Sigma, TQM, etc.)

Experience with Salesforce.com Experience and a high level of acumen with the Miller Heiman Strategic SellingTM and Large Account Management Process® (LAMP®) Knowledge of the food value chain - frozen, proteins, exports, retail and food service Working Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience navigating other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Accounting Systems
