thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation is seeking an ERP Analyst - Supply Chain to work as part of the tkE GPI Applications team in Alpharetta, GA.

thyssenkrupp is seeking an Oracle ERP Analyst to work as part of the tkE GPI Applications team. The ERP Analyst role will assist with developing, maintaining and facilitating the framework and standards for the Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications.

The position requires functional and technical working knowledge of Oracle R12 Supply Chain, including Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Shipping, Cost Management, and Planning. This individual will understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Responsible for functional, technical, configuration and integration analysis activities to support a large, highly customized Oracle ERP environment.

  • Perform administration, functional & technical design and development of Oracle ERP Configurations, Customization, and custom application integrations

  • Work with DBAs, systems architects, production support, technical and business staff to perform troubleshooting activities, isolation and triage activities and ultimate root cause analysis.

  • Prepare Knowledge documentation. Develop system/module process flows, configuration, requirements, functional, technical & architectural design documents

  • Provide back-up support for other technical and functional areas; share knowledge with teammates and business representatives.

  • Contributes to risk-based audit of existing and planned technology systems. Identifies IT risk in detail, assesses and tests the effectiveness of control measures and assists in preparing formal reports in order to provide independent assurance on an organization's information security, integrity and resilience

  • Exceptional analytical, technical and conceptual thinking skills across end-to-end supply chain management processes.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Very effective written and verbal communication skill

  • Ability to lead, work independently or as a team member to achieve business objectives

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Excel (Pivot table, vlookups, etc),

  • Demonstrated Functional Expertise in Oracle R12 SCM modules, including Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Shipping, and Cost Management, and Planning modules.

  • Demonstrate functional and technical working knowledge of Oracle Forms, Work Flow, AME configurations, XML, PL/SQL, APEX, GRC, Form Personalization, Object-Oriented design methodologies and webservices

  • Proactively identify, lead and guide recommended cross module integration, workflows and technical process enhancements, improving efficiencies within the Oracle ERP R12 Applications footprint.

  • Experience in a highly complex, heterogenous supply chain application including high volume interfaces to warehouse automation systems, advanced planning applications, B2B e-commerce applications.

  • Experience providing best practices within Oracle R12 Applications, with customizations and Oracle Systems Integration methodologies.

  • Requirements gathering and collaboration with technical team to develop documentation as defined by technical team.

  • Expertise in identifying technical, functional and configuration test cases for the Oracle R12 EBS modules including application function, integration, regression and coordination of UAT events.

  • Expertise in identifying upstream and downstream test cases for systems that integrate with the Oracle R12 EBS.

  • Functional, technical and basic architecture knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle middle tier and OBIEE, Power BI.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Applications configuration and administration (Defining Concurrent Programs, Profiles, Users and Roles)

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes with a focus on material requirements planning (MRP), bills-of-materials, logistics and integration points with finance and cost controlling.

  • 7-10 years Hands-on experience in Oracle R12 ERP, Implementing ERP Projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or another related field. (Or equivalent work experience)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment

  • Ability to take initiative, work independently show attention to detail

  • Ability to lead team of functional and technical analysts.

  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving skills with Superior verbal and written communication capabilities

  • Advanced VISIO, Microsoft Excel skills, proficient use of MS Office.

  • Oracle reporting abilities including OBIEE, BI Publisher and Oracle reports
