Retail Supervisor - Full Time - Casa Marina at Hilton Global in key West, Florida

Job Description:

Assists and acts in the absence of the Gift Shop Manager to market and sell merchandise to guests and to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum profitability. Participates in buying, ordering, inspecting, pricing and displaying merchandise, conducting inventory, selecting and managing vendors, manages the financial processes of forecasting, budget budgeting, purchasing, payroll and inventory control. Performs duties of gift shop clerk as needed. Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff.

What will I be doing?

• Assists guests with purchases of merchandise including; cash handling, refunds, exchanges, room charges, employee discounts, promotions, credit card purchases, daily shift deposits.
• Assists Manager with training and supervising team members according to Hilton policies and guidelines.
• Assists managing records and other administrative functions of the department. Ensures the verification and inspection of incoming products.
• Ensures the maintenance and appealing merchandising of the gift shop.
• Assists in gift shop inventories.
