Job Description:


CFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is in search of an experienced Member Relationship Representative. This individual will support CFCU’s member experience team by consistently providing members, potential members, and co-workers with exceptional service in person, over the phone, and through email. The ideal candidate will have consumer loan sales experience preferred with products including, but not limited to credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, and home equity products.

Responsibilities:

  • To be an advocate of CFCU and represent CFCU in a positive manner at all times. To understand and support CFCU's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • To provide the highest level of member experience to CFCU's members, potential members, and co-workers.
  • To develop an understanding of the financial needs and goals of members and potential members. To educate members and offer products and services that will help them achieve their goals.
  • To have a deep knowledge of CFCU products and services in order to accurately perform transactions within established time frames and according to policy and procedure. Transactions include, but are not limited to:

      o Opening new memberships and accounts.

        o Educating members and recommending, when appropriate, services such as on line banking, Bill Pay, Pop Money, and eStatements.

        o Developing the necessary skills to accept, process, and fund consumer loan applications (including credit cards, auto loans, home equity products). When appropriate, referring members to Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Lending.

        • To achieve or exceed personal and branch goals as assigned.
        • To address and solve member issues and concerns in a friendly, professional, timely manner. When appropriate, use ingenuity and "thinking outside the box" within the assigned level of authority in order to solve problems
        Desired Skills and Experience:

        • Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in consumer loan sales, processing, and funding with products including, but not limited to credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, and home equity products.
        • Proven sales ability.
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
        • Ability to work independently as well as successfully in a team environment.
        • Working knowledge of regulations relating to all Credit Union products and services (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Reg DD).
        • Ability to use windows software, computer keyboard and mouse, email, ShoreTel phone system, calculator, scanner, fax and copy machine.
