There is a great opportunity for an Assistant Director of ED in the Los Angeles area of Southern California now available. This 400+ acute-care facility is looking to bring on a strong nurse leader to join their wonderful team of Medical professionals in running the Emergency Services Department.
Reporting directly up to the Nurse Director of ED, the Assistant Director of ED will oversee the 24/7 Emergency Department from top to bottom. With 50+ FTEs reporting up to them, their responsibilities will vary from directly clinical care, to staffing and training employees of the unit. The ED is on an ER Express 2-track system which not only saves time time for employees of the facility, but also patients that are able to come and leave after being cared for in a timely manner. This includes more rapid treatment plans, express diagnostic care, and assessing critical condition patients. They ensures quality patient care, and the patient experience level to increase in satisfaction.
the ED is made up of certified, physicians, quality nurses, techs, and certified staff highly trained in Emergency Medicine all reporting up to the Assistant Director of ED. The responsibilties of the Nurse Manager ED include;
