Job Description:

Oversee and manage all physical aspects of Medline's 3PL offerings. Support projects associated with the Objectives Accountability Program (OAP).

• Analyze potential value-added 3PL partnerships.


• Monitor the overall 3PL performance of the Distribution Centers (DC). Key metrics include: on time shipping performance, inventory adjustments, productivity performance, overtime, labor usage, headcount, total cost as a % of sales, receiving activity, misc expenses, temporary worker usage and OSI numbers.


• Coordinate the activities of DC's to meet new 3PL partner needs and specifications. Address sales or 3PL partner concerns that are escalated above the branch level. Review sales credits as needed. Review OSI reports and monitor levels of 3PL partner complaints.


• Ensure compliance throughout the supply chain to all regulatory rules and guidelines.


• Oversee OAP strategic alignment for Operations Lead Team and Global Operations. Cascade levels of responsibility throughout the organization.


• Oversee OAP strategic development across each operations team. Cascade the OAP vertically throughout operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 5 years senior leader experience in warehouse operations with P&L responsibility and selecting support personnel.

Additional

• Willing to travel at up to 50 % of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Work Experience

• Experience with WMS, ERP, Labor Management and reporting systems.


• Experience with medical products, consumer packaged goods or other industries with case pick and re-pack.


• 10 years of business experience with extended education.
