VP, Global Risk & Digital PMO

Description

As part of Chubb’s Global Risk & Digital Program Management Office, the Vice President (VP) will report to Global Digital/Risk Officer.   The VP will be responsible for organizing, monitoring and reporting Digital program initiatives across regions and functions.  This individual will support the ongoing evolution of strategic programs, manage executive reporting, support planning and strategy activities, and responsible for expense management for the organization.  Success requires strong project/program management skills, expense management experience, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence senior leaders across regional and functional groups.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities


  • Work cooperatively with Digital and Functional teams to manage and track the completion of various deliverables across the program

  • Work collaboratively with Digital Portfolio Manager and Digital Finance to align and manage program scope, cost, schedule, quality, dependencies and risks to meet program goals


  • Manage monthly program reporting for executive management 

  • Serve as an advisor to Global Digital/Risk Officer and team by ensuring key priorities and budgets are on track

  • Responsible for expense management for the Global Digital/Risk Officer.  Provide supervision and support financial analysts with their responsibilities

  • Manage the annual planning and prioritization process in support of the strategic objectives of Global Risk & Digital organization.  Prepare the submissions for Corporate Finance and Executive Management

  • Work cooperatively with Corporate Finance on monthly expense variance analysis

  • Work collaboratively with the functional leaders in the organization to tackle various operational issues as needed

Qualifications


  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline; MBA degree a plus

  • Requires 15+ years of related experience in project or program management, with at least 3 years in Agile environment (Scrum).  ACP certification a plus.

  • Experience managing a digital program

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and establish strong working relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently; comfortable with loosely defined tasks or ambiguity

  • Results oriented and adaptable

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Deep experience working in a global and complex matrixed environment 

  • Insurance industry or Insuretech experience

  • Demonstrated integrity and discretion handling confidential information

 

Work Location – New York City, Philadelphia, Jersey City, or Bermuda

Travel – Yes, 10% or less
