Job Title: System Engineer

IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified System Engineer with a SECRET Clearance at Scott AFB in O'Fallon, IL. The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual who works well as part of a multi-disciplinary development and support team. Candidate must have strong leadership skills. Candidate should have experience supporting Army and/or DOD programs.

Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent.
* 5 - 8 years' experience in systems engineering in either an on-premise or cloud environment.
* 3 - 5 years' experience in supporting development utilizing DevSecOps processes.
* Experience designing and maintaining systems utilizing Microsoft, RedHat Linux, Solaris, or Cloud based infrastructure such as Azure or AWS.
* Experience leading system design teams with a combination of custom software and commercial integration.
* Have the skills to participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting DevOps processes.
* Strong communication & process document skills.
* Security+ certification.
* **Candidate MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications Preferred:
* Experience supporting DOD logistics or transportation programs for USTRANSCOM and/or SDDC.
* Agile and/or SAFe development experience.
* Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar tool suites.
* Experience in implementing a DevSecOps release train for system development, testing, and deployment.
* Experience in establishing or migrating development/test environments from on-prem to cloud.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Support the development of system applications and interfaces for DPS.
* Help develop and maintain the integration processes necessary for DevSecOps the release process.
* Support system level integration testing, working in concert with the Test Engineers.
* Support internal and external interface testing.
* Provide troubleshooting and analysis necessary to diagnose and provide corrective measures for problem reports and discrepancies identified in the production system.
* Help coordinate engineering activities with and across multiple development teams using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
* Identify, address, and develop mitigation strategies for technical risks and program technical debt in a proactive manner.
* Support standing and ad hoc meetings and briefings for the customer as required.
