Job Title: Technical Editor


Location: Scott AFB / O'Fallon, IL


Clearance: Secret


IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Technical Editor with a SECRET Clearance at Scott AFB in O'Fallon, IL. The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual who works well as part of a multi-disciplinary development and support team. Candidate must have strong organization skills. Candidate should have strong experience supporting Army and/or DOD programs. Experience supporting USTRANSCOM or SDDC programs and missions is a plus.


Qualifications:

Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent.
* 3 -5 years' experience managing technical documentation.
* Experience supporting documentation to government specifications for Agile software development.
* Must have the skills to support a multi-disciplinary team with application developers, system engineers, administrators, and configuration management specialists.
* Strong communication & process document skills.
* **Candidate MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance


Qualifications Preferred:
* Experience supporting DOD logistics or transportation programs for USTRANSCOM and/or SDDC.
* Experience working with and maintaining CMMI Dev Level 3 documentation and processes.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Developing and editing material for reports, manuals, briefs, instructions books, and related technical and administrative publications.
* Working with configuration management to collect and organize information required for manuals, documentation and reports.
* Support project management activities for development and delivery of scheduled deliverables, presentations, and any special reports.
* Coordinate configuration management activities across multiple Agile development teams.
* Work with Quality Assurance to ensure standards for documentation and other deliverables are met.
* Support standing and ad hoc meetings and briefings for the customer as required.

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to Normal demands associated with an office environment.
