We are currently looking for a Customer Account Specialist to join our team in Dayton, NJ. A Customer Account Specialist is the voice of the Customer within International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). This role manages the sales order process through shipment and delivery for assigned customers and affiliates.This postion is a temporary-to-permanent role.
You Will Spend Your Time...
* Entering customer orders into SAP, acknowledging, and confirming orders back to customers
* Managing all customer or IFF initiated order changes and communicating status updates to the appropriate parties
* Tracking order fulfillment progress, running open order reports daily, and proactively communicating exceptions to customers and management
* Logging customer complaints via QM system, processing credits, debits, and returnsin the Dispute Module in a timely manner
* Maintaining all customer related master data
* Providing coverage for coworkers who are out of office
* Preparing forecasts, safety stock, and inventory information as needed
Job Requirements
Required Skills
* Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a team and other departments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
* SAP experience highly preferred
Required Experience
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Previous Manufacturing Operations experience
* Previous Customer Service experience
* Export experience highly preferred
