PT Licensed Practical Nurse (Kendal) 24 hours per pay period at Kendal-Crosslands Communities in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Kendal~Crosslands Communities, a Life Plan Community located in Kennett Square, PA has a PT opportunity for an LPN at Kendal. The hours for this position is below:

-3pm - 11:30pm, 24 hours per pay.

Position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Essential Function: Promotes and restores resident’s physical and psycho social health by providing practical nursing care as determined by the needs of the resident and their plan of care in collaboration with the RN Care Coordinator or Nursing Supervisor, physician, residents, families, and the multi-disciplinary team. Provides and ensures a home that promotes quality of life, security and wellness according to regulatory and department standards.

Qualification & Experience: Graduation from an approved school of Practical Nursing and current licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Demonstrates competency in the administration of medications and treatments, including both knowledge and skills in these areas. Demonstrates ability to recognize, promote and respect the individuality and abilities of each resident and to maintain the standards of the Kendal~Crosslands Communities philosophy of care. Demonstrates ability to work as a team member within the Health Services Department, with other personnel, as well as with residents, their families and friends. Current CPR & AED certification. Must have general knowledge and understand of State and local health department regulations, regarding safe food handling and general sanitation.
