Position Summary

As a mechanic for Worley Field Services, you will be responsible for the maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairs of pumping, mixing and piping systems. Thorough knowledge in safe maintenance work practices of various pumping, piping, mixing, and other operational equipment. The ideal candidate will possess very strong troubleshooting & root-cause analysis skills, the ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.



Primary Responsibilities

Thorough knowledge in safe work practices of all mechanical systems and equipment. Examine, test, maintain and repair all physical plant machinery and equipment to assure safe and efficient operations. Repair and install pipes, fittings, fixtures and other plumbing duties as required. Maintain and repair pumps, valves and motors as required. Prepare records, and logs maintenance repairs and inspections. Follow good housekeeping practices for maintenance areas such as; washing, cleaning, painting, and maintaining tools and other equipment.

• Knowledge and ability to implement all safety procedures in accordance with established policies and procedure


• Ability to operate industrial equipment and tools


• Ability to legibly document data for record keeping purposes


• Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously


• Ability to assist other work related areas as requested


• Ability to work at heights; ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts


• Ability to work around water


• Possess good troubleshooting skills


• Must be willing to work minimal rotating days with overtime as required


• Outdoor maintenance duties are required and are subject to prevailing inclement weather conditions


• Must provide own tools of the trade


• Must have valid driver's license


• Must be able to wear a respirator

Physical Requirements:

Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma


• Minimum of 3 years experience with equipment maintenance required


• Experience related to industrial pumps and equipment, industrial welding or industrial plumbing preferred


• Experience with creating, and maintaining preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
