Job Responsibilities: The Candidate will serve as EnSafe's Chief Chemist and environmental chemistry subject matter expert. The candidate will be responsible for leading and growing EnSafe's national litigation support practice, leading EnSafe's emerging contaminants (particularly PFAS) subject matter experts, building new and strengthening existing relationships with clients impacted by emerging PFAS regulations, supporting teams across multiple disciplines (e.g., chemistry, hydrology, and toxicology) and client types nationwide.

Required Experience:


  • 15+ years experience

  • Advanced degree (doctorate preferred) in Chemistry or other relevant physical science

  • Experience in environmental chemistry, contaminant fate & transport, environmental litigation support, remediation design, data and statistical analysis, chemical forensics and fingerprinting

  • Deep understanding of PFAS chemistry from manufacturing to chemical degradation

  • Prior environmental laboratory and/or consulting experience
