Position Title:  Regional Manager (8E)


 


Position Summary


Accountable for end-to-end oversight, control and reporting of customer and internal facing projects within Tower organization from supporting sales opportunities through on-air.  This leader is responsible for dedicated customer account(s) within a defined market geography and leading a team of Program Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators.  This team will execute on projects with focus on managing deliverables, schedule, budget and cycle time expectations with customers.  This leader will act as definitive internal and external customer facing voice of project delivery, continually refining and improving processes to speed execution for customer commitments.  The expectation is that this leader is action-oriented and drives coordination with leadership from all necessary teams on internal and external escalations, risk management, controls administration and customer communication.


 


Essential Job Functions 



  • Develops, maintains and owns dedicated customer relationship(s) within a defined market geography, acting as senior single-point-of-contact for project delivery, owning the end-to-end accountability for entire project delivery function for the dedicated customer(s).

  • Coordinates across the entire project delivery process, including with Real Estate and Implementation teams, from supporting sales opportunities through on-air

  • Identifies opportunities and develops plans in collaboration with internal partners to meet financial and operational targets and expand tower leasing and services opportunities.

  • Drives focus and manages resources in alignment with company priorities and goals

  • Ensures all projects are executed utilizing a meticulously controlled and measured approach compliant with CCI control requirements

  • Drives clear, consistent and timely communication with leadership and internal partners regarding project and customer status and issues with actionable recommendations

  • Engages key external customers and provides critical business updates on a timely basis, addressing questions and concerns in a timely manner

  • Drives teams to coordinate and systematically execute projects according to project management guidelines and processes with a goal of consistent on time and budget outcomes

  • Directs internal teams to quickly triage issues and ensures solutions meet customer requirements

  • Collects stakeholder feedback to identify areas of focus and drive continuous improvement

  • Explains complex processes in a simple manner

  • Builds coalitions of support across diverse stakeholder groups

 


Education/Certifications 



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • PMP or comparable certifications preferred

 


Experience/Minimum Requirements



  • Minimum of seven (7) + years of experience driving complex operational projects utilizing project management principles (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, etc.)

  • Experience developing and rolling out complex processes & standards documentation and driving continuous improvement

  • Experience building effective teams and leading teams through change

  • Experience interfacing with external customers and driving organic growth

 


Other Skills/Abilities



  • Preferred – Deep understanding and experience with detailed processes, workflows, and tools that underpin how work takes place at CCI

  • Preferred – bilingual English/Spanish

Reports to:  Tower Project Delivery – Regional Manager


 


Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable):  Market Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Coordinators


 


Working Conditions:  Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.  This position requires travel and with a distributed team.   During COVID19 conditions, this role will work remotely to mitigate risk.
