The Business Planning Analyst's primary responsibilities are the development of the revenue plans for the recently formed Altice Mobile. Main responsibilities include reporting of actual revenue results, providing variance analysis and commentary for monthly management reports, assisting the business leaders to stay on course with the revenue goals, and presenting yearly financial plans to senior management.

• Work closely with business leaders to develop budget/forecast that reflects the revenue and financial goals of the company and act as a resource to help achieve these goals.


• Develop budget/forecast presentations, which clearly speaks to the strategy, goals, and financial objectives for the mobile business


• Analyze and explain monthly revenue variances to senior management and incorporate variances into running monthly forecast


• Manage the mobile handset revenue model; determine handset price, handset manufacturer mix (Apple, Samsung & Motorola), impact of device promotions on recorded revenue


• Track and report key KPIs


• Perform pricing & margin analysis of plan pricing & international offerings


• Support in development of monthly revenue projection


• Assist on the long-term financial plan


• Work with accounting to ensure accurate recording of monthly revenue entries


• Maintain monthly & quarterly P&Ls


• Develop, report, and maintain routine and ad-hoc financial analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields


• 1-4 years of related business planning experience


• Ability to analyze large amounts of data, develop and modeling for ad-hoc analysis- must have a thorough understanding of the key aspects of revenue planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and analysis of performance issues and strong financial analysis skills, preferably in a subscription-based company/industry


• Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs and charts


• Experience with Hyperion, SmartView & Essbase


• Effective written and oral communication with employees of all levels


• Ability to work cross functionally with other operational teams and departments


• Effective use of time management to meet goals and objectives


• Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills


• Independent self-starter who thrives in taking the initiative and improving current processes with very strong attention to detail
