PUC National is a non-profit organization that serves to promote, support, benefit, replicate, and carry out the purposes and mission of Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC Schools).
We have a contractual relationship with Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC Schools) to provide a variety of support services to the schools in NE Los Angeles and the NE San Fernando Valley. This includes, but is not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Operations, IT and Data Management, facilities identification and acquisition, fundraising, grant management, college access, alumni relations, charter development and renewal, and compliance.
Job Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Senior SIS Analyst Lead, the SIS Compliance Analyst's primary functions are to maintain and facilitate SIS procedures and continuously perform quality assurance on system data, maintain and execute external compliance extracts and reports for the Student Information System. This position is full-time.
Essential Duties and responsibilities, listed but not limited, below:
Maintain user accounts in SIS for all stakeholders.
Enter and update data via a specialized school software program (PowerSchool).
Ensure integrity of data in SIS by conducting frequent audits and analysis of student information.
Manages and conducts federal and state reporting of data including exporting and uploading data to external systems such as CALPADS, CBEDS, LAUSD, and any ad-hoc requests for information.
Support requests from other districts, CMOs, and independent schools related to CALPADS anomalies.
Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.
Assist in developing and conducting training, either in person or via webinar, of teachers, staff, and other stakeholders in SIS and CALPADS, and of developing accompanying Help Documents.
Document internal information systems practices and procedures.
Provide customer support in person, via phone, and Incident IQ on SIS and other integrated systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education & Skills Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on Excel) and Adobe Reader.
Knowledge of PowerSchool
Possess the skills to work collaboratively or independently as needed.
Detail-oriented
2 years minimum of experience in data entry preferred but not required.
Knowledge of CALPADS preferred, but not required.
Skills:
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solver - get the job done - can-do attitude.
Analyze spreadsheets and complex data for accuracy.
Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and see projects through from start to finish.
Strong customer service orientation, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Salary & Benefits
Hourly range $22 – 24 per hour
