Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Owning the quality of any deliverables including new features and enhancements
2. Working closely with the scrum master and product owner in understanding the product backlog
3. Developing and executing test plans for program increments
4. Planning the effort for the QA team for each sprint
5. Providing testing effort during planning poker
6. Developing and executing test cases
7. Taking ownership of the QA deliverables and the QA team
Key Skills and Requirements:
1. Strong background and at least 8+ years of experience in Testing
2. At least 3+ years of experience in leading a team
3. Strong knowledge of agile software development methodology (Scrum) and QA's role in it. Having any agile certification is a plus
4. Expertise in Test management and Agile tools like JIRA/ADO
5. Strong knowledge in STLC
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong experience in insurance domain. Exposure to commercial insurance will be a plus
