Position Summary:

BayFirst Solutions is currently seeking a Test and Combat System Engineer who will support a program for the US Coast Guard in Washington, DC..

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) in a systems engineering/T&E role.

  • Candidates shall have considerable experience with all aspects of large vessel test and evaluation processes and oversight, including documentation, tracking, and reporting.

  • Candidates shall have DoD IAM level III certification or equivalent.

  • Candidates shall be knowledgeable in cyber security policy for both C4ISR and HM&E systems.

  • Candidate will directly support Combat System Certification Panel approval process for NSC systems, along with identifying and tracking cyber posture of Combat systems, communication systems, and Navy Type Navy Owned (NTNO) equipment.

Education Required


  • Master's Degree and 10 years of experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience
