Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an AccountingIntern to add to ourAccounting Teamin Denton, Texas.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limitedto:

• Perform fixed asset cycle counts


• Process tooling invoices


• Conduct SOX walkthroughs and testing


• Assist with Chassis Cost and Accounts Payable projects


• Splitting dealer invoice files


• Assist with general accounting duties for month-end close and forecast

Skills / Competencies

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Accounting Degree program.

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.


• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.


• Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.


• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and SAP.


• Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.


• Deadline-driven and self-motivated.
