Responsibilities

    Distill complex problems into refined solutions through organizing content, structure, and information architecture into user flows, wireframes, and interaction design
  • Implement recognized digital sales patterns to sell our sophisticated software products

  • Ability to act on your knowledge of conversion and abandonment optimization, sales, customer support, and other eCommerce areas

  • Conduct qualitative and mixed-method user experience (UX) research to explore or test concepts, prototypes, and live sites, and develop and implement recommended evidence-driven solutions

  • Apply diverse design theories and approaches to continually improve Esri's end-to-end customer and user journeys

  • Act as a UX evangelist, ensuring that others understand the value of UX activities for the user by applying eCommerce best practices including industry norms/standards to improve existing Esri standards

  • Work in partnership with your UX and user interface (UI) design teammates, business stakeholders, project managers, content writers, and developers to distill complex problems into refined solutions through organizing content, structure, and information architecture into user flows, wireframes, and interaction design

  • Implement Calcite, Esri's design system

  • Identify and design new eCommerce components as needed

  • Stay up to speed on the latest mobile, web, and responsive design patterns and technologies

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience specializing in digital sales environments, user experience, research, and interaction design preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) technology company

  • Experience with design software, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex ideas understandable

  • Natural curiosity and passion about learning new things, being driven by personal growth and commitment to working in digital sales enablement

  • Bachelor's in digital marketing, interaction design, business, applied social science or a related field such as an MBA, human-computer interaction, user experience

Recommended Qualifications


  • AEM and Adobe Analytics experience

  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards, including I10n, i18n, and translation

  • Knowledge of GIS technology, mapping, and analysis applications a big plus

  • Experience in scrum and agile development environments
