BlueWater Federal's team at Hanscom Air Force Base supports the mission needs of 66th Air Base Group providing efficient service delivery for critical infrastructure needs and capabilities to include Network, Voice, Server, Storage, SharePoint and Web. We are looking for IT Support Specialist to join our team.
Develops, implements, oversees, and maintains customer organization IA program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures
Implement and enforces all Air Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized IA publications; Supervise the customer organization's IA program
Ensures all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access to Air Force ISs according to AFSSI 8522
Ensure servers, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, and operating system/application software are properly configured for network operation, are on-line, and are available to user
Define ownership of applications and determine who has permission to read, write, and execute
Assign and maintain user IDs and passwords according to AFMAN 33-223. Administer user privileges on the system (e.g., when users share files)
Work with the base Information Assurance Office to implement network security policies and procedures as outlined in the base network security policy
Account and security group administration within the Air Force Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) software.
Provide software support for the following applications: AutoCAD, AutoCAD License Server, e4Clicks, ArcGIS and Air Force Automated Civil Engineer System (ACES) Dispatch.
4-year Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, and equivalent of 2-4 years of experience in Air Force IT/IA program level operations and C&A support
Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Office Products (2016-2019 / Office 365)
Experience troubleshooting and researching a wide range of technical issues with both hardware and software, to include but not limited to: virtual private network (VPN), WiFi, printers (multifunction, plotter and label printers), and network related issues
Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and configuring mobile devices (specifically iPhone)
Working knowledge of AF systems a plus
CompTIA Security + certification required
Secret Level DoD Security Clearance required
