Collects and analyzes HR data and metrics to identify trends in the workforce. Responsible for ensuring that the data is accurate and presented it in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to key stakeholders. Acts as an internal consultant to HR leadership, business leaders, and other key stakeholders regarding the alignment of talent with business needs. Leverages workforce analytics to identify opportunities and develops meaningful and actionable metrics to drive workforce decisions and strategies.



  • Establishes strong cross-functional relationships to fully understand the business and key success factors in the industry.

  • Works with business units and HR personnel to develop relevant HR metrics.

  • Generates regular and ad hoc reports on specific HR metrics. Presents data in a logical, concise manner.

  • Develops and maintains procedures for the metrics report generating process.

  • Serves as the data steward for HR data tables and ensures data accuracy by completely following all company-outlined procedures.

  • Utilizes statistical control techniques, such as logistical regression and the design of processes, to examine and identify key trends in the data. Generates relevant metrics to further business and HR strategic initiatives and priorities.

  • Presents relevant trends in clear, succinct reports to key stakeholders and demonstrates the implications of these trends on the business. Synthesize large amounts of data to identify key trends. Explains data and metrics to a non-technical audience.

  • Investigates possible methods of improving and/or increasing the automation of the reporting process. Applies working knowledge of SQL, databases, relationships and data integrity concepts.

  • Creates complex queries joining multiple databases/tables.

  • Acts as a main point-of-contact for all HR reporting requests from internal and external customers.



Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, information technology, or related field. Three (3) years of data analysis and reporting experience. HR analytics and reporting experience preferred. Significant knowledge of HR systems and databases. Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication. Strong customer service, multi-tasking, analytical, and prioritization skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Expert level knowledge of SQL and general understanding of databases, relationships and data integrity concepts.Ability to create complex queries joining several databases/tables. Ability to use Data Visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire/Tableau to generate dashboards or reports preferred. Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner. Skill in collaborating across organization and functions to assess and evaluate business challenges.
