Pentair is currently seeking a Sr. EHS Leader to join our incredible team at our Delavan, WI campus! This strategic priority site for Pentair is receiving significant capital investment to build a center of excellence at Pentair. The Sr. EHS Leader will be responsible for providing EHS service, direction and leadership to achieve Pentair's Zero Harm vision. In this role, the EHS Manager will be the primary point of contact for managing the EHS program, building a proactive safety culture and driving EHS improvements throughout the campus. You Will:

  • Implement the EHS portion of Pentair's CP2 (Culture, Process, Performance) program to drive proactive EHS programs and risk mitigation

  • Partner with site leadership to maintain and continuously improve Pentair's EHS Management System

  • Deliver clear measurable outcomes and EHS improvements by analyzing statistical data/trends and compliance audit results, effectively engaging site leadership, and driving action for identified improvement opportunities

  • Drive really exciting, innovative safety solutions. No boring stuff here. Let's talk Safety 4.0!

  • Provide technical expertise in the area ofoccupational safety and health, environmental compliance, and sustainability. You are the primary point of contact for EHS on campus!

  • Drive thorough investigations for all incidents and accidents on site and ensures timely completion of corrective actions. Lead the team in developing effective root cause analysis and countermeasures

  • Partner with Segment EHS leader to conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses with special emphasis on machine guarding and ergonomics

  • Promote individual behavior based safety programs and employee engagement programs, driving involvement and empowerment of front line employees to change culture from reactive to preventive, and ultimately predictive. Let's make safety FUN and innovative together!

  • Manage excellence around regulatory requirements (ex. OSHA, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan, Large Quantity Generator Permit, DOT hazmat shipping permit etc.)
  • Partner with Segment EHS leader and site leadership team to drive continuous improvement in Pentair's Sustainability program, including Pentair's Zero Waste program and Pentair's facility sustainability treasure hunt process. Let's build Smart, Sustainable solutions together!

You should have:

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in EHS from a recognized institution and experience in project, construction and/or industrial EHS fields

  • 3+ years' EHS experience with 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in a manufacturing or construction work environment

  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to make decisions, be a self-starter and love working in a team environment

  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from operations leadership

  • Experience in and knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
  • Strong positive energy and enjoy driving improvement in the safety and well-being of others!
