About the Role:

A Training Specialist at Toppan Merrill is responsible to create, manage, and deliver training content in classroom, virtual, and self-guided e-learning formats to the diverse teams that support our clients with their SEC transactional and compliance regulatory filings.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze training needs, build appropriate learning solutions, select delivery methods, and work collaboratively to deliver and implement training

  • Contribute to supporting documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures.

  • Apply Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledge ina specified field, including mentoring and guiding other employees and trainers in saidfield

  • Contribute knowledge of training fundamentals and maximize effectiveness by researching training methodologies and learning tools

  • Act as a lead resource to answer product questions and provide support to the Client Serviceand/or Production teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Instructional Design, Project Management or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years experience working in a service oriented environment, with direct client-facing experience preferred

  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge and experience in financial services industry, including preparing SEC EDGAR filings, XBRL, SaaS tools and/or code-based typesetting platforms[AS1].

  • Strong Experience and high comfort level working with Microsoft Office-based applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, File Explorer, Teams, etc.

  • Preferred but not required: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Captivate or other e-Leaning authoring tool, Techsmith Camtasia or other video authoring/editing software.
