Purpose, essential functionsandprimary duties:
Works with Senior HR Director to provide HR administrative and recruiting/onboarding support
This position may include a variety of assigned project work
Prepare on-boarding materials and coordinate the first week schedules with the hiring managers
Supports employee engagement and a positive employee relations environment through timely and conscientious responses as well as proactive efforts; responds to employees' HR related inquires; prepares and delivers responses
Completes HR-related transactions and routes for required approvals; follows through to ensure timely and accurate execution
Maintain HRIS system
Maintains/updates employee files
Interfaces with payroll department for timely and accurate outcomes
Perform project work as requested
Willingness to learn all aspects of a corporate environment within a public-traded company
Works directly under the supervision of a member of management
Provide support for a variety of projects
Gain a better understanding of CBIZ business operations
Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clientsandCBIZ
Ability to gain computer proficiency relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processingandpresentations
Ability to conduct high-level research and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:
You must be at least 16 years old (or a work permit, if required)
High School Diploma or GED required
No experience is required
Who Should Apply:
You are currently enrolled in a bachelors program studying a major that aligns with the CBIZ business model
Preferred majors: Pursuing a Business Administration or Human Resources degree
Active participation in student organizations and work experience in related field a plus, but not required
You have a GPA of at least 3.25
You enjoy working in a team environment
You have basic Microsoft Office skills
You have time management skills and the ability to multi-task
