The VP of Clinical Data Operrations will direct the global operations team towards successfully accomplishing departmental and company goals. Responsible for the development of departmental strategies to achieve these goals while monitoring the progress of the implementation of these projects. Ensure consistency in Operations in all ERT offices.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and conduct team management meetings to relay corporate and department direction.
Direct the hiring, orientation, and training plans for the management members of the Clinical Data Operations team.
Monitor the productivity and efficiency of the operations staff in each office including metric review, staff utilization and resource planning with the input and assistance from management personnel in each office.
Monitor turn-around-time (TAT) performance and take active measures to ensure TAT is met consistently
Work closely with Project Management department regarding process improvements and departmental interactions to ensure a team environment, effective communications between departments, and Project Assurance initiative success.
Develop, review and revise Standard Operating Procedures, Job Descriptions, Departmental Training, and Working Practice Guides or Handbooks, as needed.
Provide written reports to senior management outlining key projects, staff productivity and utilization and quality.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Business Development and Regulatory with internal and external client meetings including audits and bid defenses.
Other related projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor Degree required
Experience:
Minimum of ten years experience in pharmaceutical field (or related industry experience)
Minimum of 8 years Management/Supervisory experience essential
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience with different methods of collecting and analyzing production metrics
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process
Proficiency in MS Office suite of products. Familiarity with programming products with exposure to SAS helpful.
