Description

At Cotiviti, we are custodians of data for our clients. This requires efficient processes to manage data implementations, data production, data quality and data security. We interact with 3rd party data vendors to ensure clean and complete data is received as part of our data production and implementation runs.


Vendor Management as a function ties these aspects together while driving these with the client's interests as the highest priority.


Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:


Vendor Outreach & Relationship Management



  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand raw data accuracy/timeliness issues that are affecting client delivery

  • Build ongoing relationship with vendors to resolve identified accuracy & timeliness issues

  • Vendor Outreach - manage contact lists, manage vendor outreach - including email and phone communication.


Data Analysis



  • Perform data analysis using data profiling tools to identify root cause of issues

  • Ensure data profiling tool configurations are accurate


Internal Interface



  • Provide off hours On-Call support to resolve issues around critical vendors.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, high level of initiative, team member, and multitasking ability required - work with internal stakeholders to close out open items.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent

  • This is an entry level position and the candidate will be trained in healthcare data.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent oral and written skills are required.

  • Excellent organization skills, with ability to track multiple issues.

  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to work well in a group setting. Must be able to perform daily functions with little supervision.

  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to work independently and balance daily operations and projects, as required.

  • Ability to occasionally work early, late, or on weekends as projects demand.

  • Experience working in a hybrid on-shore/off-shore operating model
