Job Description

Verisk is seeking a DigitalPayments Program Manager to drive the key elements of Payment initiatives from initial review through launch across Verisk business units. The successful candidate willhave a high level of technical and business knowledge and a strong ability to coordinate with stakeholders across Verisk to identify issues and risks. You'll thenpartner with business unit teams to plan and execute Payments into Verisk products including launch activities including but not limited to marketing materials, sales training, etc.

The day to day responsibilities are:


  • Manage payment program to implement payments in various Verisk products.

  • Manage portfolio of Payments projects.

  • Coordinate evaluation and engagement of vendors with tools or experience to aid in Payment Solutions, including managing proofs of concept (as needed)

  • Partner with payment vendor(s), currently Fiserv.

  • Collaboratewith business unit Project Managers to drive project activities and artifacts throughout each phase of a project lifecycle.

  • Provide executive status reporting on all projects. Create status reports for executive steering committee to communicate issues and drive decisions.

  • Ensureany projects in partnership with the business are reporting accurately the status, resource requirements, risks and issues ensuring initiatives and projects are being effectively managed within agreed time periods.

  • Ensurethat project plans are developed for all assigned projects.

  • Coordinate/contribute /manage meetings (reporting, tracking and agenda management) as appropriate.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:


  • 7-10 years of experience and a proven track record ineffectively bridging technology and business and managingcomplex programs.

  • Strong understanding of project management concepts to implement technology initiatives and displayed competence in the coordination of complex projects.

  • History of managing multiple concurrent projects, and the ability to determinetheir associated priorities and resourcing.

  • Successful track record in managingthe risk and opportunity situations on projects.

  • Demonstrated business-focused approach and achievement of business objectives.

  • Leadership in a wide variety of areas and situations.

  • Ability to negotiate firmly but sensitively with senior management, and external partners.

  • Excellent communication skills both in meetings and discussions as well as through reporting and presentations using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to deal with non-routine or unexpected situations.

  • Bachelor's Degree
