The VP Digital NORAM is responsible for all aspects of the NORAM Digital business which sells into the IDEMIA established markets of Financial Institutions and Mobile Network Operators. The individual is also responsible for developing and executing a strategy which will increase IDEMIA's footprint in adjacent enterprise market segments targets which include but are not limited to the Insurance, Retail, and Shared Economy segments.

IDEMIA's Digital portfolio covers four product Domains - Digital Payment, Digital Identity, Digital Trust, and Digital Connectivity.

The role requires a senior and rounded individual with an active network of senior contacts across the NORAM Digital ecosystem, with specific focus on the area of Digital Identity. Exposure in the payments and mobile network operator space would also be highly desirable.

The role resides within the Global Digital Sales team and will work with subject matter experts in multiple domains, as well as with local executive management, sales and account teams, and other Business Units to develop, sell, and close

Digital opportunities in the North American market. The role has line management of a number of individual contributor sales people who are accountable for delivering sales KPI's including order intake, revenue, and other strategic objectives.

The role has a specific focus on the development of opportunities, and new propositions, in the Digital ID space so extensive experience in this market will be essential for the successful candidate.

The role will include the following key undertakings:

  • Management of the NORAM digital sales team to deliver quarterly order intake and revenue targets, ensuring high quality governance on reporting, forecasting, contracting, and planning.

  • Development and execution of a strategic plan for the region capable of delivering sustainable growth especially in the area of Digital ID.

  • Representation of the region of NORAM to collaborate with other stakeholders within the Digital BU including Product Domains and Digital Labs to ensure customer satisfaction, new business development, ecosystem engagement, relevant roadmap development, and other key activities in the support of the North American business.

  • Leverage the various existing digital subject matter experts ( in pre-sales, labs, and product management) to achieve sales based KPI's.

  • Evangelize new concepts based and establish beach-head deals for them in the North American market.

  • As the senior representative of Digital BU in NORAM work with other stakeholders in adjacent BU's to develop the wider ecosystem for IDEMIA and its Digital aspirations.

Required Skills:

  • 'Player-Manager' profile capable of making an individual quota contribution as well as managing the team quota for the region.

  • Capable of strategic vision in order to input to product, proposition, and go to market plans working across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver that.

  • Track-record of developing and closing business around Digital Identity solutions into the North American Financial Institutions, Retailers, and related industries.

  • Existing network of senior contacts within NORAM financial institutions.

  • Strong sales DNA capable of independently developing and closing business pipelines and performing against quarterly targets.

  • Demonstrable track-record of developing and closing large value software deals in excess of 1M USD.

  • Collaborative mindset capable of working with account managers within FI BU, and stakeholders from other business units to develop new opportunities and new market propositions.

  • Technically competent, capable of engaging with both commercial and technical stakeholders within customer prospects and able to articulate and understand solutions at a technical level.

  • Used to negotiating and closing complex solution-centric contracts.

Required Experience:

  • Experienced software and solutions sales management profile with at least 12 years experiencing of selling complex software solutions into the FI market place, 5 years of which must have been in a sales leadership role.

  • Experience and comfortable operating at a strategic senior level within customers.
