Job Description:

As we continue to expand our E-commerce strategy, Essity has a new role within our growing Ecommerce team as an E-commerce Manager. Managing 2 E-commerce Activation Managers, you will become part of our exciting journey and develop your career within a global company that makes a difference to people's lives every day. This is a remote role, so your location can be flexible, however travel to meetings at our office locations (Bedfordshire and North Yorkshire) will be required as per business needs.

About the role

The E-commerce Manager will define and develop our online offering of products across our Health & Medical Solutions business unit. You will coordinate activities across market segments, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve defined outcomes. You will look above what we are doing in Ecommerce, with a focus on creating a strategy that Essity needs to implement to achieve its aim of becoming a market leader across the online market.

What you will do


  • Defining and implementing the E-commerce growth strategy and executional roadmap to drive sales, profit and share of search performance goals with selected strategic customers.

  • Leading E-commerce marketing activities in close alignment and partnership with internal stakeholders including local sales and customer marketing teams with the ultimate objective to deliver customer's joint business plans.

  • Supporting contract negotiations including terms and conditions, product offers, merchandising packages, customer pilots and pricing - all to jointly develop capabilities that deliver a competitive advantage for our Healthcare products

  • Establish Essity's Health & Medical Solutions business unit as an expert thought leader and performer in the evolving B2B E-commerce space; specifically strengthening our business and partnership with select multichannel customers across prioritized market segments

  • Be the subject matter expert internally assisting and ensuring input into annual planning process, P&L management as well as regular forecasting activities.

Who you are


  • Successful B2B and/or B2C multi-channel E-commerce marketing or product manager, with Account Management experience

  • Well-developed online merchandising skills

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Previous experience with platforms including Amazon and or Google would be advantageous

  • Effective communication and influencing skills with a strong customer focus

  • Able to take ownership as well as be a self-starter.

  • Have an understanding of tools which assist in analysing EOS customers sites

  • Experience of managing and leading people
