This position will be focusing primarily on our Motive Power applications, which include industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. Some of the motive power brands include Hawker, Ironclad, General Battery, and Fiamm. Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.

Job Purpose

Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming inventory in order to maintain accurate perpetual inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them).


• Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.


• Research inventorydiscrepancies and ability to reconcile them.


• Resolve inventoryproblems in a timely manner.


• Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.


• Operate forklift to count and verify reseachable inventory.


• Understand material and information flow in all processes.


• Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.


• Coordinate disposal of expired/obsolete raw materials stored in the warehouse in accordance with all regulatory compliance requirementes.


• Maintain product identification and location program.


• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.


• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision - publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.


• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution.


• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.


• Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years.


• Preferred experience with Cycle Counting/inventory.


• Must be able to pass the forklift/reach truck certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis.


• Must be computer literate and have experience in any ERP system. BAAN is preferred.


• Must be able to lift 50 lbs as part of job function.


• Must be detailed orientated, have strong verbal and written skills.


• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.

HOURS OF WORK: 1st shift (1 am to 9 am) and 2nd shift (2 am - 10 am)

RATE of PAY: $21.03
