Overview

Want to lead and coordinate technical resources in the maintenance of manufacturing systems, drive reliability and efficiency improvements for a Fortune 200 Company with some of the most iconic brands? If you have a degree or equivalent military experience along with 3 plus year of experience in the application of manufacturing control systems, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for an Automation Controls Analyst in Richmond, VA.

What you will be doing:

Directing electrical and mechanical craft as they diagnose and repair equipment or perform preventative maintenance.
• Providing technical expertise diagnosing control system issues as needed.


• Identifying relevant data, collect, analyze, and provide recommendations for improvements focused on reliability and efficiency.


• Maintenance planning, scheduling and work order processing.


• Providing technical assistance and leadership in troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery/control system issues and solutions.


• Directing technical resources.


• Inventory Management


• Supporting capital project work.

We want you to have:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in a technical field, equivalent industry experience or equivalent military experience


• 3+ years' experience in application of control systems principles across both existing processes and new projects.


• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience.


• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; familiarity with principles / concepts of Quality Systems


• Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking, deductive reasoning, application of quality control principles and active listening


• Experience handling contract maintenance employees preferred


• You are open to working on 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shifts


• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds, working in a production environment for extended periods of time standing, walking, etc.
