Job Description:

JOBSUMMARY:

Maintains all greenery and landscaping throughout theproperty including all maintenance of planters and water systems.

GENERALREQUIREMENTS:

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
  
  
• Must possess a valid Louisiana driver'slicense.
  
  
• Must be able to get along well withco-workers and work as a team player.
  
  
• Must possess excellent customer serviceskill.
  
  
• Must be able to work any day, anyshift.
  
  
• Must have at least two years previousexperience in landscaping or gardening with appropriate certification.

  ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:
  

  
  
• Maintain health, vitality andappearance of all shrubs, trees and ornamental plants.
  
  

• Maintain and repair all sprinklers and waterlines associated with above areas.
• Groom all flower beds and exposes soil on a daily basis.
• Assist laborers, when needed, with large jobs.
• Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

DEMANDSTO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

PHYSICAL& MENTAL:

• Must be able of hearing in the full audible range in high noise conditions and possess average vision and color perception.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, and carry heavy loads, run level surfaces as well as up or down stairs.
• Must be able to lift at leas 50 pounds.
• Must possess coordination and dexterity to drive power sweeper, forklifts, scissors lifts and other equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to work in extremes of temperature in excess of 115 degrees or below 10 degrees.
• Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in emergency situations.
• Must be able to learn and retain locations, operation and repair procedures of the property's equipment.
