AT&T has an opening for a Software Engineering Intern to support the Innovation and Strategic Development team. Within the Innovations & Strategic Development team, interns will have the opportunity to work with Public Sector engineers and developers on leading edge technology solutions. Examples of such technologies include Mobile Edge Compute (MEC), 5G use cases including video intelligence and drones, and IOT applications. Core focus area for the intern will be supporting the continued development and go-to-market efforts of the Integrated Command Center (ICC) application.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Application development in support of the ICC
• Supporting go-to-market strategy and capabilities of ICC
• Full stack application coding
• Agile project management and DevSecOps best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Application Wireframing, Prototyping, Development, Testing, and Deployment
• Full stack application coding languages including CSS3, HTML5, AngularJS, Node.js, and JavaScript
• Agile project management
• DevSecOps best practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Operating systems, microservice deployment models, and containerization including Openstack, Kubernetes, and Docker containerization
• IoT Sensor Technologies to include: Video/Video Analytics; Public Safety solutions; AR/VR; Robotics; Smart Cities solutions (e.g. lighting; environmental; etc.); Building Management; Asset Management; Fleet Management; and Analytics.
