Role and Responsibilities

• Complete assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order to maximize productivity and maintain consistency
• Use personal protective equipment at all times and follows all safety regulations
• Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately
• Clean up around machinery and maintain general work areas
• Operate machinery, equipment, and hand/power tools as trained and instructed following safety guidelines (concrete saws, forklifts, dust collectors, shot blaster, etc.)
• Assists lead coordinator in preparing for production of samples and filling sample requests
• Take regular inventory counts of samples and sample supplies
• Package samples for shipping and assist with general shipping and receiving in and out of the facility
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements/Education/Experience

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instruction and manuals
• Follow applicable housekeeping and safety procedures
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each at heights from floor level to 4 feet high
• Must wear personal protective equipment - ear plugs, hard hat, metatarsal steel toe shoes and protective glasses
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; or related experience in trades specific to job requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have basic computer skills in Outlook and Excel
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to demonstrate lock out tag out procedures
