Adecco Staffing is assisting in recruiting for a Forklift Operator in Aberdeen, MD. This opportunity is a contract to hire position. Apply now to be immediately considered! MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Pay Rate: Starting at $15.50/hr. - $15.80/hr.
Different Shifts available: Morning or Afternoon shifts As a Forklift Operator your responsibilities will include:
Stock/load parts, materials and equipment into specific inventory locations using lift equipment
Rearranging the warehouse so heavy items are at the bottom. (50-200 lbs)
Pick/deliver parts to the factory floor or shipping
Receive, unpack, organize and replenish tools and supplies
Inventory, report damages and discrepancies of materials.
Safely operate various lift equipment
Follow the attendance policy of the Department
Follow all safety procedures and policies
Operate cherry picker
Qualifications needed:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 years of applicable work experience in warehousing/receiving or inventory management
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have stable work history
Must have strong attention to detail
Must be willing to cross-train in other work centers if/as needed
Effective communication (verbal and written)
Able to safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, well beyond an 8-hour workday.
