The Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for a wide range of growth opportunities within the pharmacy. Some of these responsibilities include directing, establishing, and planning the overarching goals of the pharmacy. These goals will have policies put in place by the Director of Pharmacy to ensure they are met. Communication among the differing departments is vital. The Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for ensuring departmental heads, medical staff, and nursing staff are regularly informed and communicated with on matters relating to the pharmacy. This hospital provides comprehensive patient services including Surgery, Labor and Delivery, and more. The Director of Pharmacy will maintain positive relations among their team in the pharmacy and lead by positive example. Providing assistance, training, and mentorship are vital aspects of the Director of Pharmacy’s position.
