A rewarding Surgical Technologist opportunity is now available in a scenic region of southwestern North Carolina. The Surgical Technologist will be on second shift and have experience assisting OR Surgeons and OR Nursing staff ideally in the acute care hospital setting or outpatient surgical setting. 

The Surgical Technologist will be joining a hospital that is home to more than 200 licensed beds. The hospital is associated with an academic healthcare institution that is not for profit and found in the 1950s. Second largest employer in the county provides patient focused quality care within all comprehensive care service lines. The Surgical Technologist will work with a supportive Surgical Services team, and aid OR staff during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the surgical supplies and equipment and maintain sterility prior and during surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech will have knowledge of the supplies needed for surgery, surgical cases and anatomy, and will assist with care of sterilized supplies. 6 months of surgical technologist experience is preferred.
