Position Overview: This position is responsible for guiding digital product/platform strategy throughout the organization, and aligning digital excellence with strategic client segments' needs and business goals for seamless, transparent and frictionless experiences that sustain mutual growth and trust. Champions human-centered design thinking, along with user-voice, to help conceptualize, test, develop and prioritize new ideas and features that will improve Compeer's digital tool set. Develops analytics and insights which enable the delivery of outstanding digital client experiences. With the VP of Client Experience & Digital Strategy, the incumbent will advise stakeholders, and the broader organization, on all aspects of the digital client experience.


Essential Functions:


  • Creates and manages strategies and plans for continually improving the digital client experience.

  • Conducts client analysis and business forecasting to deliver insightful program analysis. Leads the detection and definition of opportunities that can be solved or improved using digital tools.

  • Establishes new initiatives and ensures they are thoroughly defined, measured and executed to maximize ROI and promote product success.

  • Develops and executes human-centered design workshops for visioning, road-mapping, journey mapping, etc.

  • Actively seeks data and insights to drive informed understanding of how clients use Compeer's digital tools and what improvements could be actioned to improve the digital experience.

  • Champions the voice of the user throughout the entire product lifecycle, delivering impactful insights that translate to desired experiences.

  • Guides analytic thinking and KPI design for digital products/platforms.

  • Develops and manages a toolbox of user experience research, usability and feedback methods/models.

  • Creates and conducts interviews, surveys and case studies to uncover user and client needs and pain points. Utilizes research insights to alter and enhance current organizational priorities and product strategies.

  • Uses client and market data to develop hypotheses and insights that drive organizational priorities, collaboratively with Marketing, Business Technology and other stakeholders.

  • Keeps up-to-date on industry best practices and strives for continuous improvement.

  • Provides a future-focused perspective to the organization by providing client experience and digital expertise.

  • Uses a client-focused, design thinking approach to help cultivate a client-centric digital culture.

  • Manages vendor relationships to ensure on-time, efficient and effective projects.

  • Coordinates all vendor management tasks inclusive of enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring.

  • Coordinates vendor selection and methods to approve vendors.

  • Partners and consults with management and stakeholders on project requests to determine scope, goals, time frame, costs and allocation of resources.



Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • 7+ years of experience in digital strategy, user research including needs assessment, concept testing and usability, preferred.

  • Ability to leverage excellent communication, planning, and implementation skills to develop effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders and ensure that strategies are executed effectively.

  • Strong understanding of design thinking and the user-centered design process.

  • Has a passion for creating exceptional client experiences.

  • Analytical mindset and experience using data to drive decisions and insights.

  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to broadly influence.

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, and the ability to craft stories and presentations for an executive audience.

  • Effective interpersonal, client service, and team skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) and other related applications.

  • High level of integrity.

  • Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.

  • Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.

  • Valid driver's license.
