Your Role & Responsibilities
SUMMARY: Our growing company is currently in need of a responsible individual to fill the position of Facilities Supervisor. The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company's facility operations, supervise staff, manage office moves and manage janitorial duties, all while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations, code and health and safety standards.
Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies
Coordinate with the director of capital projects on the implementation of new building projects
Oversee and supervise team of maintenance technicians and procurement activities
Supervise test stand support, instrumentation, machine shop, and maintenance functions
Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
Manage preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance for all bldg.-related systems: electrical, security, HVAC, boilers, process air, chilled process water systems
Manage all building security systems (building access, fire systems)
Manage environmental, health & safety systems for the facility
Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
Your Skills & Strengths
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline is required
Minimum of 3 years experience in facilities management (ie test, electrical, manufacturing, operations) position is required
Strong understanding of ERP systems is required; SAP is preferred
Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
Demonstrated leadership skills
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work independently
Demonstrated use of critical problem solving techniques.
