The Nurse Supervisor Acute Care Surgery will benefit from working with a successful, growing health network known as an industry leader. This position is located at a 40+ bed hospital providing comprehensive acute care services.
The Inpatient Surgery RN Supervisor will thrive in this state-of-the art department featuring 6 ORs performing up to 30 cases daily across multiple specialties including orthopedics, bariatric, and head and neck cases. The Nurse Supervisor Acute Care Surgery will manage a team of 80+ staff including 25 direct reports. The Inpatient Surgery RN Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Operating Room and can lead changes to improve efficiency of services and patient experience.
The Nurse Supervisor Acute Care Surgery will report to the Surgical Services Manager and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Inpatient Surgery RN Supervisor will mentor, coach, and supervise staff to ensure quality patient care and analyze data to evaluate performance improvement projects.
