Warehouse Unloader/Loader

Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal!

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Loader/Unloader to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the
Branch Warehouse
, you will be
responsible for supporting the timely flow of incoming and outgoing clean and
soiled garments and products. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy
Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job
training.

What you'll be doing:

  • Unload clean products from
    transport shuttles

  • Stage clean garments by route
    and day to ensure accurate delivery

  • Remove soiled and clean return
    products from route trucks

  • Sort soiled products by class
    and material

  • Load soiled products onto
    transport shuttle for return to plant

  • Load garments and additional facility
    service products onto trucks in preparation for route deliveries

  • Monitor facility service
    inventory levels and notify management of shortages

  • Perform light janitorial duties
    including sweeping, emptying trash, picking up litter, and cleaning the warehouse

  • Follow
    all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.

  • Perform
    other duties as described by area supervisor or management



Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older to
    operate machinery


  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour
    shift

  • Ability to read, write, and
    communicate clearly with management

  • Ability to perform basic
    mathematical operations using American standard units in weight
    measurement, volume, and distance

  • Ability to lift and carry up 75
    lbs.
