Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for performing various administrative and reception duties, providing reception, information and referrals to patients, guests, volunteers and staff of CDHCC.
This individual should be versatile in their skills sets and flexible in scheduling. As Administrative Support is requested in different Clinical and Non-Clinical areas (typically a result of vacation coverage, etc.) this person will be requested to provide temporary support.
This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years experience on this and related positions required.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public, including intoxicated people, in person or over the telephone required.
Demonstrated typing skills, and the ability to deal with multiple tasks concurrently and reliably required.
