The Payroll Tax Analyst is an integral member of the HR organization with a key role in the delivery of high quality customer service to business leaders,managers,and employees, as well as the HR community.
They will partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure compliance of all federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations for a USmulti-companyandmulti-statepayroll.

Responsible for the timely and accurate review and approval of all multi-state payroll tax liabilities
Partner with ADP to ensure accurate and timely tax filing, payment and YE processing ensuringall federal and state, local tax withholdings, unemployment tax, and W-2s are accurateand submitted timely
Review Workday tax dataand address payroll tax reporting discrepancies in a timely manner
Perform general ledgerreconciliations
Ensure that all unemployment rates are correct and up to date
Understandand stay current onfederal and state tax requirementsto ensure compliance.
Manage/ support internal or externalpayroll tax related audits
Support the end to end processing of US weekly and biweekly payrollby ensuring employees are set up in the correct taxing authority.
Responsible for the end to end processingand reportingof stock exercises,vestingand relocationentries
Tier II support for customer tax and YE inquiries
Test system payroll / tax enhancements
Create / update all tax related process documentation
Provide payroll related reports e.g. tax credits, workers compensation etc.
Provide needed payroll and payroll related file support for annual audits e.g. retirement plans
Back up Payroll Lead with the management and processing of employee legal deductions e.g. garnishments, child support orders
Ensure tax withholdings are filed timely for all off cycle payrolls
Create and run audit reports
Responsible to maintain Federal Lock Letters
Work with Finance to ensure the accurate submittal of 1099s for decease employees
Partner with Finance on all workers compensation reportingrequirements
