Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required
- 1-3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care hospital setting is required, with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility
- Demonstrated clinical education abilities and leadership is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required
- 3-5 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in one or more of the following patient care specialties in acute care setting including ICU, cardiology, burn, orthopedics
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team
- Job related experience with and/or commitment to service excellence
- Job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work environment
